Winter is Near

Hello Wildcats! Winter is heading our way quickly while bringing snow flurries and hot chocolate with it, so say goodbye to pumpkin spice and fallen leaves. Here’s a few things everyone should do to get their winter started the right way.
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is its overwhelming cheesy Christmas movie re-runs. Classics like “Home alone”, “Christmas Vacation”, and “A Christmas Story” are the perfect start to achieving those winter feels, but don’t forget the hallmark channel.
However, Christmas movie re-runs aren’t much fun unless you’re cuddled up on the couch with a blanket, hot chocolate, and a cozy fire. Yes a fire, they crackle and pop along with the setting the perfect mood lighting for those rom-coms hallmark is famous for. If you don’t have a fireplace in your home break out those spruce and pine scented candles to achieve the same sense of coziness.
Now this next one is for the girls: winter clothing. It is personally the number one thing I love. Sure, shorts and t-shirts are fun, but nothing can outmatch the adorable boots and sweaters we get to wear. Plus, there are endless amounts of cold weather suitable accessories like scarves, beanies, ear muffs, and gloves.
Lastly, after you’ve done all of this, there are only a couple more things to do. Turn on that holiday music. Then get to decorating! Feeling the winter vibes isn’t enough, you have to listen and see it too.
Well wildcats, now you have a sneak peek into my weekend after thanksgiving. Enjoy the season!
