If you are looking for a good new alternative band that isn’t very well known, I would definitely sit down and take a listen to SPEAK. They have one album out that came out in 2014, entitled Pedals, and it’s been one that I thoroughly enjoy. I first heard about the band through a Spotify radio playlist during the past summer in 2016, and I haven’t gotten tired of a single song yet. It’s an upbeat style of music that mixes with some more relaxing beats that I think many people would enjoy. As I said, they aren’t a very well known band, they only have about 20,000 monthly listeners. Contrast that with a more well known band like Young the Giant, who has over two million monthly listeners, and you can be forgiven for having never heard of the band.

But as I said, if you have a taste for alternative/indie music and feel like you have heard it all, trust me, you have not. This band is one of my low key favorites. I’d probably never list it off whenever someone asks me what my favorite bands are, but it’s a band that I listen to on the daily. Definitely give it a try.
