Person of the Week: Regan Evans
Bath bombs have become more and more popular recently, however they can be expensive and a hassle to get a hold of. This is why freshman Regan Evans decided to start a business making and selling bath bombs.
“I started watching videos about them and I thought they were cool,” Evans said. “But I didn’t want to pay 8 dollars for a small bath bomb so I started experimenting and they turned out really good.”
Even though the small business is new, Evans has already sold over 15 and is still producing more.
“I make them per demand, and I need 47 that I’m making this weekend,” Evans said. “On March 1, I’m catering to a birthday party. It’s turned into a big thing and I didn’t expect it to. The small is three dollars and the large is five dollars.”
Evans is getting a lot of experience with this business that will prepare her for the real world.
“Right now we have a legitimate business number that people can call and place orders,” she said. “We’re getting so many orders in that it was getting hard to keep track of them all. Even my teachers are ordering them. We also have an email, Facebook and Instagram.”
Even though her business is doing well, Evans is not sure what she wants to do with it in the future.
“I really just wanted to start it because everyone has to pay so much money for bath bombs at stores,” she said. “They’re pretty popular right now and I really enjoy them. A lot of people are buying them and seem really interested so, depending on how much I earn, I might put the money towards college.”
So if an inexpensive, convenient bath bomb is on your wishlist, make sure to look for Regan Evans to check it off.
