Netflix original series are becoming more and more popular.

People all over the world are purchasing a subscription to Netflix just to see the new original series that only play on Netflix.  House of Cards was the first Netflix original series and was the starting point for all Netflix originals. Some Netflix original shows are a new concept, but others are the sequel to an already successful series. For example, many people who have seen Full House were interested in Fuller House; however, in order to see Fuller House, viewers have to subscribe to Netflix in order to watch the new series.

Not only do people want to have the option to watch new and popular shows, it is a way for people to fit in. Being able to watch shows that only Netflix has, makes people feel like they are a part of the group and can be a good conversation starter when meeting new people. The show, Stranger Things is just the newest Netflix original series to become the most popular Netflix original since Orange is the New Black.

There are over 14 Million people watching Stranger Things and they even had a booth a the popular convention “Comic Con” in Florida just for the show. Not only are there Netflix original Television shows, there are also movies and documentaries. As Netflix begins to grow larger and to more countries, more and more people continue to subscribe to it.

Depending on where a person lives, each country has their own Television shows, movies, and documentaries, however; everyone has the same Netflix original series. Due to restrictions on American companies, Netflix is not available to North Korea, Syria, and China but has recently gotten to South Africa. Netflix continues to grow in not only their viewers but they’re increasing the number of original series they have.
