The Clairvoyants take mind-reading act to Broadway
October 11, 2016
A man holds the random dollar close to his chest and looks up to his partner as she flawlessly recalls the serial number on the bill while blindfolded. Psychics, Thommy Ten and Amelie van Tass, can accurately predict anything through their supposed telepathic connection. They call themselves The Clairvoyants. One would think their amazing ability would instantly land them one million dollars and a Vegas show when they competed for America’s Got Talent 2016 but, in the end, they were beat by a 12 year old and her ukulele. For most people this would be the end of the journey, but for The Clairvoyants it’s only the beginning.
While some have forgotten about the pair because they lost the competition, others have not. Ten and Tass were able to successfully capture the attention of Broadway. They’ll be joining the cast of The Illusionists: Turn of the Century which is a showcase consisting of multiple illusionists that perform acts such as levitation, mind-reading, disappearances, and more.
The pair who originally came from Vienna, Austria now have a bright, long future as performers ahead of them. They begin their first debuts with The Illusionists at the Palace Theatre in New York on November 25th.
