Hillary Clinton collapsed on her way out of the 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony on Sunday morning.
After only an hour and a half, Clinton claimed she felt ill and decided to depart early, but on her way to her car, secret security had to catch her when she nearly fell to the ground.
According to the Washington Post, spokesman Nick Merrill said, “During the ceremony, she felt overheated, so she departed to go to her daughter’s apartment and is feeling much better.”
After much speculation by media, it was finally announced that Clinton had Pneumonia.
“(Clinton) was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule,” Dr. Lisa Bardack, Clinton’s doctor, told CNN in a statement.
Trump had been silent up until Monday morning despite previously bringing up Clinton’s health throughout the campaign trial on several occasions.
“I really just don’t know. I hope she gets well soon,” Trump told Fox News. “Something is going on but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we will be seeing her at the debate.”
Because of Clinton’s condition and demands for his own medical records, Trump has vowed to release the physical results he had taken last week to show he is healthy.
According the her campaign, Clinton now seems to be feeling better.
President Barack Obama added in a statement that Clinton, after an exam on Sunday afternoon at her home, ‘is now rehydrated and recovering nicely’.
