My brain can not comprehend the ignorance of some people. Yes, somewhere in your religion it says to be against certain things but in reality, it probably stresses more about loving instead of hating and harassing other people for living their lives how they want. Really, it should not bother you when people do something that has no effect on you. No, the gays are not turning this generation gay, this generation is just finally comfortable with coming out. Also being gay, trans, gender neutral, bisexual, asexual and everything in between is not something you can just choose. Why would someone choose to be disowned or ridiculed? Some people like boys, some like girls, some like both or neither. Who cares? Didn’t Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins in the New Testament? In fact, isn’t that what the New Testament is all about? And second, if we are going by the Bible and good word of God, then shouldn’t divorcees be shunned too? What about people who wear two different fabrics together? You can’t just choose to pick and choose parts of the Bible and ignore what you want. The fact of the matter is, LGBTQ+ people are people. Same thing goes with people of different religions and ethnicities. Do not assume something about someone because of their culture or the color of their skin. Just because someone is Muslim doesn’t mean they hate America or want to blow up anything. Just because someone is Mexican doesn’t mean they are in the drug cartel or crossed the border illegally. Just because someone is black, doesn’t mean they are thugs. Don’t even get me started on the people against the Black Lives Matter movement. If you say “all lives matter” than you are the reason why this movement exists. The entire movement is about how black lives, that haven’t mattered for the majority of history, do matter. When you say “all lives matter” you are making it about yourself. I am sick and tired of these assumptions. Assumptions like these are the reason people get killed.  All these minorities, though they might be different from you, are still human beings. You should at least have the decency to treat them like it.
