Monday, February 1st the Wildcat family welcomed its new Assistant Principal with open arms.

“I love it, I’ve embraced the 212- the culture that they have here and the kids are phenomenal and so is the team.” Assistant Principal Lynn Blakeslee said.

Blakeslee is more than excited to experience what the 212 way of life is all about.

“I have been wanting to come to Cy Woods for several years now,” Blakeslee said. “Just because of the rich tradition in academics, extra curricular and the school culture. Cy Woods is at the top in Cy Fair schools, it is a place that everyone wants to be so, I am just elated to be here.”

Just after one day of being a wildcat she has seen what Cy Woods has to offer and hopes to add her own experiences and enthusiasm to that tradition of excellence.

“I’m an ex coach so I am all about the extra curricular,” Blakeslee said. “I used to coach basketball at Cy Springs, so I am just ready to jump in and get involved. I just want to add another body to that 212 tradition.”
