Nathan Sykes, an English singer and songwriter, released a single called “Kiss Me Quick”. This is his debut single, and it has put a good impression in my mind. Who could resist tapping their toes and dancing to the dramatic pitches in his voice? Sykes’ voice matches perfectly to the heavy drums and saxophones that are fluent throughout the whole song. My personal favorite part of the song is near the end, where Sykes lets out a strong note, giving the verse a bold finish. The cover of the single is simple and complements the song nicely. It does a great job communicating Sykes’ personality through his laughing face, and enhances this in his music as well. I can definitely be heard singing along to this song while doing homework or in the car, and I will be looking out for his music in the future.
