The PSL brings in fall
Starbuck’s beloved latte returns
September 8, 2015
White girls have been bringing out their Uggs and half zip monogrammed Columbia jackets to prepare for this moment.
The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is back.
The weather doesn’t feel like it yet but it sure does taste like fall. And fall tastes like heaven on earth.
“We consider this both the start of our holiday season and what we call the ‘busy time’ of year which is from now until the end of winter.” Spring Cypress Kroger Starbucks location worker, Matt Conner said, “This is the first big drink that we start with and it is probably our signature drink for the entire year so it really marks a big up swing I business and just general how we do things around here.”
If you loved the latte before you can expect to become even more in love with it this season (and you’ll have longer to be in love since it came back significantly earlier this year) with the new and improved recipe.
“There is nothing really special that goes into making the drink it is just like all the other ones, a modified latte but they have done a few things differently this year with the syrup,” Conner said, “they removed some of the artificial flavors so it is more of a natural drink though they haven’t really talked much about that. The flavor is better than it has been in the past couple of years so I think that is probably going to make it even busier.”
It is truly a pumpkin treat now.
“We changed the recipe from last year actually they added real pumpkin because people were complaining about it not being real pumpkin so you have that to look forward to.” 529 and HWY 6 Starbucks location worker, Krystal Conner said.
Along with that change and being released even earlier in September, the latte has been available to My Starbucks Rewards Members since the 4th. Time to get a Starbucks card people.
We all secretly crave the PSL so don’t be ashamed to admit it is your guilty pleasure of fall. No one is judging you when go get two grande drin a day, after all it is only here for a limited time.
“I have been anticipating this moment and it should be out year round.” Junior, Kaitlin Butler said.
