Since the weather outside is especially nippy, the students of our school have no choice but to bundle up to block out the sharp chill of the morning air. Hoodies, parkas, sweaters, and jackets are seen everywhere within the student body. With the comfort that these cozy garments bring, they’re also a nuisance. It’s the most annoying thing to have to carry my winter gear around school simply because it doesn’t fit in my backpack. Luckily, being an athlete, I have the luxury of having a locker in the locker room, but many others can’t relate. Just the other day I saw a big furry jacket squeezed into a girl’s backpack, so much so to the point that her backpack looked like it could have exploded at any moment. I agree with the removal of the hallway lockers that our school once had because there is not enough time in the passing period to use them, but now there’s nowhere for students to store their jackets. The annoyance of having to take my jacket out of my backpack in class so I can easily access my school supplies and then stuff it back in my backpack at the end of class is so rage-inducing, I don’t even want to think about it.
